Art media falls into two categories: traditional (i.e. analog) and digital (i.e. made using a computer). When I look around at the really good art available, so much of it is digital. Digital isn't really an easier art medium, it's just a way of doing things that can't really be done traditionally. Apples and oranges. On the one hand, I feel like I'm missing out if I don't take advantage of the perfectly even coloring and gradation that digital allows. And I really feel like using layers in a paint program would make things go a lot faster. After all, I do software development and other advanced things with technology, so it's not like I'm in

It seems like every artist gets into a slump or rut every now and then. It's as if the magic spell wore off and now you suddenly forgot how to draw or paint. Creativity takes a lot of mental energy. The best quality art seems to involve emotional energy as well in the creative process. Nobody can keep this up at 100% power for 100% of the time. Other times, you may be too busy for art, and it's frustrating to find a little bit of free time and then you have no motivation for it. Whether it's visual art, playing a musical instrument like guitar, or programming a computer, I keep re-discovering the same lessons over again concerning creative a

After using various brands of sketch paper, I've come to the realization that sketch paper is pointless. Just use your typical cheap printer/copier paper and be done with it. It's a far better economic value. The primary purpose of sketch paper is to have "decent enough" paper that is low cost so you don't waste your high quality art papers. But the problem is that sketch paper is of low enough quality (e.g. not white enough, too rough and pulpy, not able to hold fine detail very well) that you can accomplish the same goal by simply using printer/copier paper instead. At least with printer/copier paper, if you like your "sketch" enough that y

there is a webcomic you should see

''HELLGASM SLAUGHTER'' is a webcomic that i ramdomly found on TAPAS a webcomic publishing site, which look like some kind of kill la kill/ devilman/evangelion fusion. It tells the story of the devil of pride Belial who fight hell and heaven armies to become the new ruler of the cosmos, and there a lot of stuff about hell and its 13 circles. The story is full of dark humor and bloody fight with funny insane characters.

take time to read cause there are lots details which can be easily missed sometimes (particulary in fights)

here the link : https://tapas.io/series/hellgasmslaughter/info

The webcomic is updated all the 4-5 days. When a chapter is finished, the next starts after a month. The chapter 13 is ongoing

Thanks for watching!

Not many artists are displaying sculpting or 3D printing, so I appreciate your contribution. Also, I like Ranma, so I have to give credit there too.

Glad you like the prints, Ranma was a lot of fun. if your interested in other 3d print related artists I made a list of artists on different sites https://www.deviantart.com/razgriz3d/journal/List-of-artists-from-multiple-sites-884776049 a lot of those are just places artists sell their models but some are people who do print models or customize models.
